Who we are
The Ananya Foundation is a volunteer based, non-profit organization that works to get surplus food from restaurants and the community to serve less fortunate people.
Our local chapters are run by friends and colleagues, who hope to create a difference in their own unique way.
For example, restaurants in the neighborhood road side, will contribute to the homeless of the locality, through volunteers who live in bus stands. Our “Ananya Foundation” are largely young working professionals – everyone does this in their free time. The lesser fortunate sections of society we serve include homeless families, orphanages, patients from public hospitals, and old age homes.
How to make a change
Sponsor a child
Every 10 seconds, a child dies from hunger
Volunteer your time
One in every eight people sleeps hungry each night
Go the extra mile
The challenge is not a lack of food — it is making food consistently available to everyone who needs it.
Our vision
Simple really, beat global hunger and bring out the best of humanity using food as a medium. The idea is to create self-sustained chapters across the world who will look after their local community. And in the process, inspire people around us to give back to those who need it most.

Tax Exemption Donation FAQ
We know donations are good! And the Section 80G Income Tax Act provides the noblest way to save tax in India – that is by donating funds to organizations specified in the Act. It is a special provision that allows taxpayers to be exempt from paying taxes.
What is the deduction under Section 80g of the Income Tax Act?
The Income Tax Act has a provision known as Section 80G that enables taxpayers to deduct a variety of contributions made as charitable donations. Donations to the designated non-profits/ NGOs and charity organizations are eligible for the Act’s deduction. When filing the income tax return, the amount donated may be deducted as per section 80G.
The donation would not be eligible for a deduction if it was made while the 80G registration of charity/ trust/ non-profit was not active.
